Wallingford Vikings Football
Alysa Worthy
Alysa has come to our program from Cheshire to be our Cheerleading Coordinator. She has no children in our program and is working extremely hard to improve our overall program. This is her first year in this position. Our girls had a preseason workout program, have a rigorous schedule in preparation for local competitions and she has begun planning strength and conditioning workouts for this winter. I believe keeping kids active and engaged is a positive step in helping them make good decisions when it comes to drugs or alcohol. I also have a strong belief that when an adult works this hard for a youth organization. with no kids in that program, they are there for all the right reasons.
Alex Libby
Alex is a high school sophomore who was a former football player within our program. He has had issues with being bullied and stopped playing football. He contacted me about helping coaching and we placed him with our youngest squad. [2nd-3rd graders] He has not missed a practice or game. I know some personal history within his family and am proud that he is choosing a drug free life style. I think considering what he has already gone thru this nomination could do wonders for him.
